This product has limited abilities; however, this offers sufficient power to meet some minimal needs such as recycling a fridge or freezer for short intervals or perhaps using a small microwave. The fact that it can charge by solar makes it even more practical for such a time. Mine came 50% charged. I fully charged it and stored it for time of need. Could be great for camping as well.

My intentions were to purchase this and use it during camping trips and for those case of emergencies but so far, I've only been able to use them for emergency purposes. With the heat, we've had several power outages and this thing really did come in handy. Not only were we able to have devices charged for the just in case but we were also able to have a big fan going to help keep the house cool. Another thing I was grateful for is that my child has asthma and had to use their nebulizer and with this power station, they were still able to use it. This thing is not lightweight and is heavy duty. However, when it's being used, it really does come in handy. It not only has lasted through those power outages, but it kept our house nice and cool without it overheating. Really does come in handy and works great.

I had to try it out as soon as it arrived so plugged in and charged to 100% overnight. I then ran fans and my iPad for several hours and finally decided to try it out on my cooker while recharging. As they advertise, the MARS-1000 PRO supports pass through charging.
This is a very reliable and compact unit that can literally go with you anywhere. It is lightweight, extremely practical, mobile, and very powerful. It is very versatile and has so many uses. So if you are looking for a compact powerhouse that can tackle even big loads up to 1000 watts, this is the perfect companion. It is a great value for the price and I give it 5 stars.

I bought this thing because my car doesn''t play nice with those plug-in power inverters, and I needed something to power my laptop when I''m working in the field. I''m a TV news photographer, and I''m usually using this thing while I edit videos on my MacBook Pro. After a solid hour of intense video editing and rendering (a very power-hungry situation), I''ve usually only exhausted about 20% of the power station. It charges pretty quickly, too - I leave it plugged into my car''s DC outlet when I''m driving and I have yet to need to bring it inside to top up over AC power.
