I have a heavy Ford F-Series / Chevy truck. How do I know if I need this standard Group 27 or a Group 27F battery?

Face the battery from the front. Red positive on your right = standard Group 27. Positive on your left (common on Toyota Tundra/Sequoia) = Group 27F. Factory cables are length-fixed and not interchangeable between 27 and 27F.

Will this Group 27 fit my marine trolling motor harness?

Marine wiring is usually flexible, but you must confirm polarity: Positive Right / Negative Left. Matching the layout avoids crossed cables, friction, tension, and short circuits under vibration.

Why is your solid-state Group 27 safer?

No liquid acid = no leakage, corrosion, or thermal runaway. Safer than AGM and lithium in high engine heat (up to 65°C) and off-road impacts. Explosion-proof, puncture-resistant, and ultra-stable.

Advice on tight factory cables on boats?

Do NOT install if cables are stretched tight. Vibration will fatigue terminals and cause failure. Our Group 27 uses standard SAE terminals for OEM fit, no splicing or forced stretching needed.

Will my hold-down bracket touch the terminals?

Our Group 27 follows standard BCI dimensions. The bracket clamps the battery body safely below the terminals, leaving clearance to prevent short circuits.
