General Questions
LIPOWER portable power stations and solar panels are designed in the US, made in China. All the orders will be shipped from our warehouse in LA.
Lithium-ion batteries can typically hold a full charge 3 - 6 months without use. It is recommended to use and charge up every 3 months or so.P.S. You can increase the unit's lifespan by storing at between 50% - 80% charge, if you don't need it fully charged. Do NOT store at 0% charge.
1. It is recommended that keep 50% of battery left in the LIPOWER power station before storing it for a long time.
2. It is recommended to fully drain out of the battery and fully recharge it every two months.
Unfortunately, you can not. Under FAA regulations, you are not allowed to take any battery exceeding 100Wh onto a plane.
When looking for a portable power station, you need to consider a few things:
· Specifications. Portable power stations have Watt-hour, Watt, and milliamp-hour ratings. You need to choose a suitable power station according to the power consumption of the electrical appliances used.
· Features. Portable power stations include many features that you may or may not want. For example, if you want a USB port included in your unit, you will need to make sure it comes with that feature.
· Size & Weight. Portable power stations come in various sizes, though all are going to be small compared to a full-size generator. For example, if you are backpacking, you will want the lightest option available.

You need to do some search or check the power of your device, it should not be exceed our max. power limits .Charge time(rough calculated) = our power station Wh* 0.85 / operating power of your device.
For reference, assuming power consumption of your device is 60W, and you want to use the LIPOWER MARS-1000 to run your device,working time will be 1100Wh*0.85 /60W =15.58 hrs (rough calculated).

Our power station can be recharged by wall charger/solar charger and car charger. Some models need to buy a dc to car power inverter for car full recharge. Pls check with the seller before purchasing.
No. It is not necessary to fully discharge the power station before recharging; you can top off as needed. Best practice for the unit, and lithium ion in general, would be to avoid discharging below 15% or so to maximize battery lifespan.
Yes. However, in order to better protect the cycle life of the battery, it is not recommended to charge and discharge the battery at the same time.
LiFePO4 battery is rated for 3500 charge cycles and/or 10 years. Generally lithium ion is rated for 500 charge cycles and/or 2 - 3 years. At that point you will have about 80% of your original capacity, and it will gradually reduce from there. Keep in mind that charging from 50% to 100% only counts as 1/2 of a charge cycle.
